Professional UHF wireless vocal system with Beta 58A supercardioid capsule

SHURE The BLX24E/B58-K14 is a high quality wireless microphone system designed for professional vocal performances, concert stages, sound companies and corporate events. The system combines the BLX4 receiver with the BLX2/Beta58A handheld transmitter and offers excellent sound quality, high feedback resistance and reliable wireless operation.

At the heart of the set is the legendary Beta 58A capsule, which uses a neodymium magnet and supercardioid directivity for maximum separation of vocals from ambient noise. Thanks to the higher sensitivity and extended frequency range, the Beta 58A provides a more detailed and clear sound compared to the standard SM58.

The system uses the proven QuickScan technology, which automatically finds the most suitable free frequency and facilitates tuning even in a busy RF environment.

FAQ

What is the difference between Beta 58A and SM58?
Beta 58A uses supercardioid directivity, has higher sensitivity, wider frequency range and better side noise suppression than SM58.

Is the system suitable for professional gigs?
Yes. This is one of the most preferred configurations for professional vocal performances and stage applications.

What is the maximum operating range?
Up to 100 meters with direct line of sight between transmitter and receiver.

How many systems can run simultaneously?
Up to 12 compatible BLX systems can operate simultaneously with proper frequency coordination.

How long do the batteries last?
Up to 14 hours of continuous operation with two AA alkaline batteries.

Is it suitable for noisy scenes?
Yes. Thanks to its supercardioid directivity and high output level, the Beta 58A is particularly effective when working in high sound pressure stages and multiple monitor lines.
