Audio-Technica ATR1500x

Audio-Technica The ATR1500x is a dynamic vocal microphone designed for musicians and performers seeking reliable, high-quality recording without compromise. With a cardioid pickup pattern, metal construction, and a detachable XLR cable, the ATR1500x is ready for the stage, rehearsal room, and studio.

Sound focused on performance

The ATR1500x was designed with a clear goal—to reproduce your voice and instrument exactly as they are. The cardioid pickup pattern captures sound directly in front of the microphone while suppressing noise from the sides and rear. The result: clean, natural sound and a significantly reduced risk of feedback, even on noisy stages.

The dynamic transducer delivers a warm, full-bodied tone for Close-up singing—the classic proximity effect familiar from the stage. Whether you are performing in front of an audience or behind the studio window, the ATR1500x sounds compelling.

Durability for every situation

The ATR1500x housing is entirely metal, designed to withstand intensive use, transport, and accidental knocks. The convenient on/off switch on the body provides quick control without needing to reach for the mixing console.

The cable is detachable—the included 5-meter XLR-to-XLR cable provides freedom of movement on stage and can easily be replaced when worn. The standard XLR connector ensures compatibility with any mixer or audio interface.

Affordability without sacrificing quality

The ATR1500x is part of the ATR series from Audio-Technica —a line created to provide genuine quality to musicians at the beginning of their journey. The microphone performs equally well with vocals and instruments, making it a versatile choice for anyone who needs a reliable microphone for a wide range of applications.
